The Mykola Fund was set up by the Canada-Ukraine Foundation to cover the costs associated with treating injuries to Mykola that occured as a result of the War in Ukraine. Mykola will require three prosthetics, and additional surgeries on his eyes, teeth and likely additional plastic surgery.
Shriner’s Hospital is generously covering costs associated with the prosthetics, but Canada-Ukraine Foundation is responsible for all other treatment and medical procedures, travel, accomodation, and incidentals. With Mykola expected to be in Canada upwards of 5 months, the costs are significant.
Donations may be made online through CanadaHelps. CanadaHelps is a registered charity that the Canada-Ukraine Foundation partners with to process some payments. It is also a registered charity in Canada and provides a safe, secure platform for online processing.
